The Biennial FAME Conference provides essential professional development and networking opportunities for those utilizing First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege. Music educators seeking to learn more about the work of Dr. Feierabend will also greatly benefit from attending. At the conference, teachers will learn from successful FAME teachers, share ideas, support, network with like-minded professionals, make music in community, and reinforce why the Feierabend Approach is so important to the world of music education.
Sessions are led by outstanding practitioners and cover a wide range of topics from working with infants and toddlers to the use of Conversational Solfege in instrumental and choral settings, to the learning of new songs, chants, dances, and games that can be taken straight to your music classroom once the conference is done.
Plans are underway for the 2018 Biennial Conference which will take place at the Marriott Midway in Chicago, IL, July 20 – 22, 2018. There are lots of new ideas happening at this Conference including First Steps and Conversational Solfege refresher pre-conference sessions as well as a full 20 hour Certification Course leading up to the Conference. We’ll also be offering some scholarships.
