The Book of Song Dances – Saturday 12:00 PM – Room Calhoun B
Dances accompanied by singing have been enjoyed by people of all ages for hundreds of years. These dances have served an important social function as people share the joy of synchronizing with others through their body, spirit, and voice. Come learn and dance our favorites from John Feierabend’s The Book of Song Dances. This session is for anyone looking to add more folk dances to their repertoire, learn great songs to teach musical concepts, and explore songs and dances that have their roots in the folk tradition. Come and have a great time!
