Creative Movement in the (Elementary) General Music Classroom Adapted from the work of Rudolf von Laban this active session will explore ten “themes” essential for inspiring creative movement in children. Help your students develop their personal movement vocabulary as they explore various ways to move: alone and with others, with and without music. This kinesthetic approach also connects students with the essence of music and can help them experience the stylistic and expressive intent of composers.
