Bylaws of the Feierabend Association for Music Education

The bylaws of the Feierabend Association for Music Education may be downloaded below.

Bylaws are internal legal documents for 501c3 Non-profit corporations, like FAME, providing a responsive process of governance specifying the overarching guidelines for running the business of the organization. Part of the strategic planning growth process of the FAME organization includes periodic Bylaw review by the board of directors to allow for a strong organizational health and governance structure. Additionally, a more specific SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) Handbook is under construction to provide even greater specificity regarding FAME’s roles, responsibilities, procedures, and events supporting the FAME Membership. The purpose of the SOP handbook is to support and guide effectiveness, efficiency, growth and transparency within the organization as we all move forward in fostering a tuneful, beatful, artful global community.

Therefore, in accordance with the existing bylaws, the FAME Board of Directors invites current members to review the proposed changes and to send any comments, concerns or suggestions to the FAME Executive Director at executive-director@feierabendmusic.org by no later than July 11, 2021.  The final draft of proposed revision will be posted here for member review prior to a final vote for adoption to be held at the annual membership business meeting on July 18, 2021 at 5:15 pm ET as part of the closing session of the national conference.
